Aspen Process Controller
Multiple controller formulations in a single package
Aspen Process Controller provides the ultimate
flexibility for developing MPC applications by providing three
proven approaches to advanced process control in a single product.
It features three configurable control formulations:
- A FIR model with a revised simplex method for set point
optimization.
- State Space formulation based on a MIMO model for linear
control problems. This option uses an interior point method for
determining optimal set points
- A fully non-linear State Space formulation based on the MISO
model form with a SQP solver for set point optimization.
Aspen Process Controller is integrated with a number of
additional features that provide KPIs for performance monitoring of
loops, controllers, and processes. Users are provided with guided
workflow to streamline the development of control applications.
Users can build, test, deploy, and monitor control applications
from a single tool. Aspen Process Controller is a core
component of AspenTech’s aspenONE® Advanced Process
Control applications.
